Working under the trade mark Brimtextil, the company's registered head office and factory are situated on the slopes of the highest Portuguese mountain, Serra da Estrela, a place where the Textile Industry is part of the local culture and the population's way of life. Therefore, benefits from the region's wool textile tradition, which dates from XVI century and as a result, the company has an excellent team of specialized workers and designers.
From 1985 until 1991 (last year of Portex exhibition), Brimtextil successively won the �??Taste and Quality �??award, from ICEP , the Portuguese Trade Office.
Since the beginning of 2010, we started a complete re-equipment of the production machinery, now already in a very advanced stage, which will be completed by the end of 2011.

We were the first company in Portugal to develop the production of Quilts and Comforters and introduced in the country, simultaneously with other European countries, the concept of ready�??made coordinated decorative textiles.
We have been developing this range for many years, and have thereby secured a leading position in both retail and contract markets, through original and quality products.
We are �??Woolmark�?� licensees since 1984 and we have a full range of high quality Pure New Wool bedding articles.
We dedicate ourselves to quality, carefully checking every fabric used and every finished article. We invest a lot of time and resources studying fashion trends in Europe, and our collections include fashionable items and exclusive models, tailor�??made for the needs and expectations of our customers.
Our main products are quilts, throws and curtains but we also produce duvet covers, pillowcases, pillows, sheets, tablecloths, in resume all that dresses the house. Together they offer attractive, elegant and coordinated sets.
We have a monthly average production capacity of 16.000 pieces based on a product mix of quilted bedcovers, curtains and pillows.
It dates already from 1990 the supply of the first big hotel �?? Hotel Patria in Copenhagen �?? since then we did the textile decoration for many of the biggest hotels in Portugal, Sweden, Norway and Belgium such as Group Tivoli, Hotel Albatroz, �?vora Hotel, Porto�??Mar in and the Regency Club in Madeira, Hotel Lisboa, Hotel Valdemoro, Golden Club, Hotel Cabo Verde.
